I am trying to install a SignalMinder on my Savage to automatically turn off the signal lights. It is a replacement for the existing flasher, but I cannot find the existing one. I expect a little black box with a plug under the seat according to the directions. I have the seat and tank off now and am not sure where it is.

Any help?

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but there's a black electrical box hidden under the left side cover. The cover comes off with just one screw.

It is too dark right now and if You can not find the rellay in 16 hrs, I'll check the exact location, but the easiest way to find the blinker rellay is to turn the blinkers ON and listen for the clicking sound comming from one of the rellays.When You put Your hand on it You should feel the pulses.

One more thing- according my manual You are looking for a unit with 2 wires doing to it- orange and light blue.

Nope. That's the ignition unit.

Look under the right side of the tank.

Visable from the front. Can even replace it without taking the tank off.
