Title: Paladin's map and gallery...

Thank you very much for providing that for us. I for one very much enjoy being able to put faces or bikes with names. Even though I consistently am the shabbiest... ;D

It's fun.  It's educational.  We are a bunch of very different people with a Single thing in common.

um,  i think we share alot more in common than you think.  like military service, it feels like many of us have, mostly in the sixties and early seventies i believe.

we're mostly a bunch of sicko's if you read all the treads, it takes just a moment for us to get to "gutter level"

Sickos? Sickos? Naw...perverts maybe... ;D

And it's not just you "old guys" who are veterans. I'm 32. Ex-Seabee. My old unit rocker is on my riding jacket, my Seabee packet patch is on my vest, my namestrip is on my wife's vest. My stepson stole my uniforms...

When I bought my Savage, if it hadn't been for Bert's forum, I wouldn't have kept it. No dealership support. The service manual is a joke. You almost never see anyother one on the road. Thanks to these forums, us "outside the norm" types can have our fun too.

My stepson came by today and saw I tore the bike down, again. He's supposed to start bringing new parts by to get it back on the road. I told him if he didn't start riding it, he was getting packed off to Moses Lake for you and Max to re-educate him. He can't wait to get on this site and start learning about the bike. He's 20 (yes, I'm really 32 like it says above). Hopefully he'll get as much from the site as I do.

Paladin, again, I can't say thank you enough. Your map and photo registry really enhances a great site.

boy wd. by our picture it looks like you've been "ridden hard and put away wet" quite a few times.  ;)

"outside the norm types" really hits the nail on the head.

Wait until you meet me. The purple dye is wearing out of my hair. I think I have more grey than all the older folks on this site combined...

I should have sent a more "normal"pic. I hate having my picture taken, I usually sleaze out. Headrag, cheap shades, hair down, leathers. I've been married 8 years this time around. I think she has taken my picture 10 times, maybe.

I know, I'm strange. I'd rather my work speak for me. Doesn't matter what the wrench looks like, as long as the work is good.
