Looks good to me, does bring back the pain in my tushy from the hard tail chop'd yam'haa 650 I had about 20 years ago - fun to look at is all I can say!

that's an engine out of the gn400, the precurser to the savage line. i rode my 81 up untill this year when it finally gave up the ghost at 98,000 miles.  sweet engine

i believe thats because he went with a rigid frame, this way he has to stop more often for fuel. that would leave more time for the kidneys to settle back into place. :P

quick question.....does the bike run better w/ that type of intake, exaust set up?  doesn't look like it would have alot of backpressure.  i was thinking of doing something similar(running w/ just the pipe...no muffler)  maybe get an extension to turn it out a bit then painting it all black.
