does anyone know if they do rear savage size tyres that have a race tread? ChrisF.. (LondonThing)

I have text file on my desktop called "passwords" Contains a list of: site, username, password.

What you want is a race rubber compound. As far as I can tell, if you want a sport/race tire for the Savage you'll have to switch to a 17" rear wheel.

You could go to Super Moto size wheels, 4.25" rear which takes a 150/60 or a 140/70/17 (140 is probably best for the Savage as it measures 148mm and the 150 is nearly 160) and a 3.5" front with a 120/60/17 or a 110/70/17 (113mm,dont know about the 120 but I'm going to try that next) if You are stuck for space.

Tires in the above sizes are made by Dunlop, GPR80 a road tire, GPR70sp a stickier version, and I think the Bridgestone BT-090 is similar to the 70's.
