Post by PerrydaSavage on 01/23/05 at 14:46:13

8)Well, a local Nfld. Businessman, well-know eccentric and self-professed motorcycle fanatic and collector passed away last year ... and his family is auctioning off some of his collection.

Bid? sluggo my man ... with my daughter needin' $5000 worth of braces, I don't have 2 extra nickles to rub together!
One of those old Brit's would be cool though!

Man, I can sure sympathize with the daughter's braces... that's an ongoing deal here too.  That Matchless is cool looking and I did like that red '56 Brave too.  It's also kinda funny to see how little the Royal Enfield has changed in the past four decades.

A pal of mine (who Rides a restored '76 Honda GL1000 Goldwing) was by the auction on Friday past and said that some of those Bikes were real sweet "in-the-flesh" so to speak ... apparently the family of the guy is hanging on to the "cream" of his collection though.

tell the kid it's an investment, and his/her inheritance  ::)
beauty is only skin deep and that even with crooked teeth love can still be found.  bla  bla  bla ::)

as you can see i dont have kids.  just the fur family and they don't need that kind of dental work. but sometimes the daily shots can be a pain.  strange thing is  she knows if i've missed shot time and will remind me.
