Title: Straight Drags Post by Munson_kl279 on 10/04/04 at 12:10:50 I've been looking at changing my stock pipe to a straight drag setup. I found a one piece pipe for $545 ??? but since I only paid $700 for my Savage I don't really think the wife would go for that one. Has anyone found a good place for drag pipes? I need to replace my header pipe along with the muffler but I want to find the best deal I can. |

Actually I missed that one. Thanks for the tip though. |
Title: Re: Straight Drags Post by Greg_650 on 10/06/04 at 02:31:47 It is as loud as 1/2 of a Cobra exhaust on any V-twin. Completely different sound projection than a SuperTrapp or Jardine. There is an optional internal baffle available. I tried it and didn't like it. It comes in the straight cut tip that I have or the slash cut in the picture. You will have to rejet. |
