Title: Missing owner's manual Post by Per Rosenberg on 06/10/04 at 09:02:54 Hi! My girlfriend just recently bought a 1995 Savage. But it came without the owner's manual. Anyone here got a manual in pdf-format or similar? Feels a bit naked without knowing anything about service intervals and what service to do. Can anyone help me out or maybe point me in the right direction? I'm not interested in a full blown "Clymer's manual" just the one supposed to come with the bike. Thanks in advance! Great site! ;D |

Title: Re: Missing owner's manual Post by Savvyge on 09/07/04 at 21:06:32 Per- I know what you mean about having a bike without its Owners Manual. It's an invitation to learning a lot of things the hard way. I recently scanned my '98 LS650 manual (complete with my idiotic notes) to a fellow Savage owner in Chile, as .jpg files. I still have them on disc, and would be glad to e-mail them to you if you're still in need, and wouldn't mind an annotated manual. |

Wow! Either that's the Suzuki shop manual or they've seriously shrunk their owner's manuals over the years. The owner's manual I got with my used Savage is smaller than most PC motherboard manuals, though decidedly better translated. Even though it contains more information than I expected for it size, I'm still glad I picked up a Clymer. |
